Central Radio performed a test transmission today Sunday 18th of April 2004 on 106.1fm
from mid afternoon til approx 7:30pm.

Our broadcasting output day consisted of 70's and 80's + dance music, also on air annoucements by station manager Jim Brown regarding our DJ line up and programming output for tommorrow.

A full days broadcast today by Central Radio with radio shows by our following presenters...

Jim Brown - 11am - 3pm (mix of 70's and dance).
DJ Doctor TK (NEW DJ) 3pm - 5pm - Dance music.
Brian Grant - 5pm - 7pm - Dance music + 80's music.
Paul Hunt - 7pm - 8pm - Liverpool bands + interview with Frank Sinatra impersonator.
Dave Collins - 8pm - 9:30pm - Dance music.
Martin Roberts (NEW DJ) - 9:30 - 11pm - 80's, 90's + general Pop.
DJ Doctor TK (NEW DJ) - 11pm - 12am - Dance music.
Jim Brown + DJ Anne - 12am - 1:30am - Chat and Dance music.

We received over 300 telephone calls and text messages during the TX.

The arial has been damaged during relocation so signal output may have been lower in some regions - however feedback during our TX has shown the signal output has increased for many of our listeners.
