Central

update

28th
of January 2005
Apologies
for a slight delay with the latest Central Radio news.
Two more transmissions
this month - including the 16th and 23rd of Jan. We had a guest DJ on Central
called Lee Atherton. Lee's demo was broadcast twice during our transmissions.
Cheers Lee.
We are still looking for more guest DJ's to make shows for Central
Radio so please get in touch with us through our phone number, email address merseyradio@yahoo.com
or our mailing address. Transmissions are
still on 105.9fm on reduced power due to circumstances beyond our control.
Jim Brown, Dr TK and the Dog have been keeping Central Radio on air with
their excellent evening broadcasts. I've uploaded some more audio from the "Dr
and the Dog" radio show on Central to our "Listen to Central" webpage.
Listen
here.
Stay Tuned to Central
Radio!

We received
a record number of telephone calls and text messages this evening during our short
transmission. Over 200 calls to the station between 9pm + 2am. Dj's on air were
Jim Brown playing oldies + Dr TK and the Dog playing Scouse House. We are still
using the frequency 105.9fm. Our radio signal is still down in power and we are
still in mono. Besides this we are still getting plenty of feedback. Don't forget
you can also get in touch with us at merseyradio@yahoo.com

3rd
of January 2005 - Bank Holiday Monday
Central Radio managed to get on air today transmitting on 105.9fm. We are
still experiencing technical problems. This has resulted in lower power than usual
and our stereo encoder is currently not working. Thanks to everyone for all the
reception reports + thanks to Doctor TK for helping with the arial problem.
Todays DJ's involved in the broadcast included - Jim Brown, Tom Webb, Jim
Lowe + Doctor TK and the Dog. Apologies if I've missed anyone out here.
A
big hello to our engineer Joe the Blow. Hope all is well and look forward to you
jumping back on board the Good Ship Central Radio.
BG
PS: Happy 2005 to all our listeners from Jim Brown, myself and from all the
DJ's from Central Radio.
